2023 TEXAS STAR SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
Avery Cammack 2023
Avery Cammack is a senior at St. Joseph Catholic School. Her passion lies in community service, leadership, and livestock. She has demonstrated her passion by her participation and volunteer activities in various state-wide livestock shows, including the Brazos County Youth Special Edition Livestock Show. Avery is also a recipient of the BVFR General Scholarship this year! She plans to attend Texas A&M University where she will major in Animal Science. Her career goal is to be an Occupational Therapist.
Colten Grimm 2023
Colten Grimm is a senior at A&M Consolidated High School. He has been involved in Brazos County 4-H for nine years and FFA for four years. Through Ag Mechanics, he found his talent in the design and fabrication of livestock equipment. Colten will attend Blinn College in Brenham in the fall. He plans to transfer to Texas A&M University to double major in Ag Engineering and Poultry Science. His career goal is to be an Ag Engineer.
